Incorporating latest V8 engine to ECMA-2015?

Are there any plans to shoe-horn the latest V8 engine into this wonderful software?

I would really like to do that - when I attempted to update JSDetox to use a newer version of V8 in the past, I ran into various dependency issues.
Maybe things are better by now, I hope to find the time to try it once again.
