Connection timeout

Hi Thomas.The timeout set in the connection method does not take effect when the IP address is incorrect and will still wait for about 21 seconds.

It's the standard behaviour of a TPC connection.
The initial timeout for a TCP 3-way handshake is 3 seconds. 3 seconds + 2 * 3 seconds + 4 * 3 seconds = 21 seconds, as Max SYN retransmissions is set to a value of 2 (older Windows versions had a number of 3, which took 72 seconds for timeout detection).

What is the timeout setting in the connection method for? After all, it is invalid when the IP address is incorrect.
