Command Recorder doesn't work for activating root component

Hi,

 I am trying to record a shortcut to activate the root component. But when I start recording, it does register the activate command, I get the icon, but then this icon does nothing at all. I activate another component, and the newly created shortcut doesn't activate the root component as I did when recording it.

 Am I missing something?
