Version 3.6.6 not available on addons.thunderbird.net

Hello,
thank you very much for updating ThreadVis to be compatible with Thunderbird 140 – I really appreciate your work on this!

However, I noticed that the new version is currently not available on addons.thunderbird.net which unfortunately prevents automatic updates within Thunderbird.

Is there a particular reason for this?
And is it planned to publish the updated version on the official add-on page?

Yes, the most recent versions of ThreadVis are currently unavailable on addons.thunderbird.net. ThreadVis has a long history, thus it is not (yet) a full WebExtension and is (mainly for the UI elements) heavily relying on directly manipulating internal Thunderbird elements.

Thus, ThreadVis is using older, internal APIs that have formerly been used for add-ons but have since (partially) been replaced with newer endpoints. The add-on is currently not passing review to be published on addons.thunderbird.net due to this use of deprecated APIs.

As rewriting the add-on to use the newer APIs is a greater effort, this is taking some time. Meanwhile, I'm publishing the existing code with updated compatibility on the add-on's homepage.
