Description
Effect UI Popups are numbers or symbols that appear above entities that have been inflicted by some sort of effect (including damage).
The symbol that pops up and then quickly disappears after a second or two should easily convey the effect of the status icon. In the case of damage, an exact number is all that's needed. (Maybe color the number in a way that emphasizes the type of damage it is, i.e. burn damage is red, or critical hit damage is yellow. Of course this is ultimately up to how we will style certain UI elements)
