Protocol 'Elixir.Caravan.Epmd.Dist': not supported

I receive this error only with the --sname flag. without this flag no error occur ...
I use Elixir 1.7.3 and Erlang 21

I don't think I really tested it with sname. If you're just trying to use Caravan.Epmd locally, you could just do something like --name foo-3434@127.0.0.1. I'll see about adding in support for sname.
