Browser-in-browser, have you considered a wasm version of WPEWebKit using Greenfield?

Hi,

Thank you for creating this awesome system! I was wondering if you have ever considered trying to compile WPEWebKit into wasm using Greenfield as the Wayland backend?

This would, in effect, create a browser-in-browser and solve the issue of not being able to render HTML into a canvas on a browser. Not being able to render HTML into a canvas is a serious shortcoming in the current browsers and prevents, for example, the recording and streaming of videos with HTML broadcast graphics overlays (this is why streamers need to re-route their videos through OBS Studio to add captions/chat windows etc. to their streams)

I have and have some mixed feelings/considerations about it. I would be a very big challenge and would probably only give you sub-par performance. Instead I have have high hopes for a linux WASM kernel which would allow for any linux application to be compiled to WASM without the need for a userland OS abstraction (like the posix layer provided by Emscripten).
