at+cursor escapes from editing task

This is not really an issue, more opportunity for user error, but I am so used to using alt and cursor (left/right) to skip between words when editing text that I often do this automatically when editing a new task, resulting in the description/task being lost.

Understand if not resolvable, though not possible to preserve this behaviour, would be great if also didn't drop the new/edited task description.

Okay, I don't use this feature, so I have some questions about how it should work. For each of the following texts, where the cursor position is marked by [], can you tell me where the cursor should end up for both alt-left and alt-right?

• This is a[] test
• This is []a test
• []This is a test
• This is a test[]

This is the default behaviour on Mac OS:
