Customer Selection Isn't Usable

Firstly, there is no option to set a default Customer, which should be possible? It's a standard POS feature as well.

Secondly, the customer search and selection is very slow. Also, it doesn't make a wildcard search.

Instead of setting a default customer overall, we plan to provide default customer order type wise. So if a user wants only default customer for takeaway then can configure in such a way.
Let me know your thoughts on this.
