gitchangelog.rc to generate a changelog according to keepachangelog.com

I want my changelogs to be formatted as described at https://keepachangelog.com/en/1.1.0/
I tried to change some of the gitchangelog.rc file, but I cannot figure out where I have to change to (for example) remove the tilde separators, or change the way a release tag is written or something else that I cannot chenge to reflect the format I want.
Any help?
