Can't see any changes from installed penumbra mods

I've just installed XIV launcher and Penumbra for the first time. Please forgive me if I'm making some rookie mistakes here.

I've installed the Face Defined mod as well as Kartoffels Upscaled World mod. Neither seem to be having any effect after closing and reopening the game multiple times and messing around with settings repeatedly.

I'm including screenshots of a lot of the different settings windows that may be relevant, if I'm missing something please let me know.

Any help is appreciated as I try to fix this issue.

You need to redraw to see changes on character. Also upscaled world textures are only going to look different up close and you need to enter/exit the area to see. You only have the normals for worlds textures and not the diffuses you should have but again reloading is required.

From what I can barely see in your screenshot you both have not ticked the relevant settings for your own race/gender combination in Face Defined DT, redraw after but again it'll be minuscule differences.

I have been redrawing and still haven't seen any difference. Also my character is Au Ra male so it is ticked, and I have ticked and unticked multiple race/gender combinations and then redrew to try and see any changes.
I do see the confusion, I was looking at an NPC at the time to try and see if the face defined worked on them
