Allow customization of base path to be opened with Open Folder

Hi,

It would be very useful, if possible to customize the path opened in the file browser when opening a new project via "Open Folder".
Currently this opens a file browser with my $HOME path by default. I'd like to change this to a different path where all my code repositories are located for more convenience.
