Why make it coupled to ZF ?

If this library is official, why couple it with ZF2 framework instead of doing

• one php component with guzzle depandancies
• zf2 module that would require the php component and add ZF2 code ?

Would be modular enough for each ppl try to implement framework code related (Symfony2 in mind)
