Uniform corner fillets for improved structural consistency
Improved screw placement to eliminate gaps
Reserved internal space for PCB installation and cable routing
Airflow transition geometry optimized, reducing equivalent half-angle from >50° to ~30°, significantly lowering wind noise

Total cost < 100 RMB per unit. Key components:
3D printed enclosure (PLA) ~13 RMB
Sanyo 9BAM12P2J06 centrifugal blower ~50 RMB
4-pin PWM fan controller ~4.9 RMB

Testing Results: The redesigned airflow path improved acoustic performance, and the blower provides more suction than required. Future iterations may adopt lower-power fans to further reduce cost, noise, and energy consumption.

Version 1 is the initial prototype of the Air_Filter project, focusing on validating the core feasibility of a compact, desktop-sized soldering fume extraction device.
Key features include:
Compact modular design suitable for personal workbenches
Adequate suction for capturing soldering fumes
Modular structure for easy disassembly and maintenance
Rapid prototyping using 3D printing
The system is divided into two primary modules: the Base Module (fan mounting and structural support) and the Transmission Roll Module (airflow guidance and filtration).
Notes: This version helped identify key design limitations, including airflow noise due to sharp transition angles and structural gaps caused by minimal screw support.
