Project: Brain Games

Brain Games is my first educational project on the Hexlet platform, consisting of a set of mini-games. You can learn more about each of them by watching the asciinemas below.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository git clone git@github.com:AutumnQR/fullstack-javascript-project-44.git
  2. Install dependencies: make install.
  3. Use one of the following commands to start the game:
  • brain-even or make brain-even
  • brain-calc or make brain-calc
  • brain-gcd or make brain-gcd
  • brain-progression or make brain-progression
  • brain-prime or make brain-prime

Descriptions for each individual game are provided below in the "Asciinemas" section.

Asciinemas

Here you can find examples of package installation, gameplay, as well as examples of player victory and defeat.

  • Brain-even:
    Description - determine whether the number is even or not.

  • Brain-calc:
    Description - perform mathematical operations and provide the result.

  • Brain-gcd:
    Description - find the greatest common divisor among two numbers.
    asciicast

  • Brain-progression:
    Description - find the missing number in the progression.
    asciicast

  • Brain-prime:
    Description - determine whether the number is prime or not.

Commands (Makefile)

  • install: Install dependencies using npm ci.
  • brain-games: Start the brain games.
  • publish: Dry run publishing to npm.
  • brain-calc: Start the brain-calc game.
  • brain-even: Start the brain-even game.
  • brain-gcd: Start the brain-gcd game.
  • brain-prime: Start the brain-prime game.
  • brain-progression: Start the brain-progression game.
