I did not know, that place can have three types in parallel.

technically it can but I do not understand the meaning of the types selected. site is a generic term (like archeological site), settlement is like a small town/village, academicInstitution is a school or a university, I do not see how one can be all three

hasAttestation means that something has been attested in a text, it can also be used with works/manuscripts in passive, I do not understand this relation

a meeting point is surely not an academic institution.

Zaboya is the most populous settlement for scribes and serves as the meeting place for the 54 scribes of the scribes' association in Zaboya Mikāʾel Church; scribal students also learn there (at the scribes' workplace). I digitised manuscripts at this location. This was the reason I created a place record. Please let me know if I should include any additional information.

Thank you, it is fully OK to create a record if you need it to point from a description of a manuscript or a person, but maybe you do not understand the @type logic and the definition of an academic institution.

As far as I understand it you need a location Zaboya with a type settlement, as it is a village
Then you need Zaboya Mika'el for the church, which is a different thing, another LOC record with type church, where you can add a description on its traditional school or scriptorium or scribal tradition
If there are any manuscripts kept there then you need an INS record for the repository.

None of these are academic institutions, an academic institution is a juridical entity.

Thank you for your explanation. As each scribe's house (workplace) at Zaboya functions as a school where students learn the scribal profession, I am still uncertain where to locate each scribe's school.

I would say each scribe's school, as a place where manuscripts are surely present, is an INS-record, linked to this place record. (You have one already I guess)

I find your phrase Zaboya is the most populous settlement for scribes and serves as the meeting place for the 54 scribes of the scribes' association in Zaboya Mikāʾel Church. more clear than the one in the record.

we do not use iha relations, as the guidelines and the schema say these are only for IslHornAfr project

you cannot anyway use place of activity as the syntax is active=subject relation=predicate passive=object

you should encode this with the person and describe this as place of activity under person

again syntax is wrong. a village is not located in a church, it is the other way around

I do not think the Private collection of qasis ʾƎšat Zammana ʾAndābet is an exactMatch (identical) to Zaboya

You need to fill the tag with a name or delete the relation. As far as I understood, @eu-genia wanted you to provide this information in <person>.

If there are any manuscripts kept there then you need an INS record for the repository.

so we need two loc records, one for the settlement, one for church. then the person(s) and institution can be associated with them.

The sentence needs revision. Sth. like: Zaboya is the largest settlement of scribes, and scribal students train there alongside them at their workplaces.

manuscripts also digitised at this location</note>

you need an apostrophe, not the sign that you have. Please use this: ʼ
