Releases: Candlestickers/Candlestick
alpha-app (+LINUX)
This here is a pre-release version of Candlestick v1.0.1-beta app, to be used for testing purposes.
Download steps for MacOS
Install the file ending with .dmg listed below.
Once downloaded, open the file and drag the app, Candlestick, to your Applications folder.
You may eject the DMG volume from your device afterwards
You may then open Candlestick from your applications as any normal app.
However, if the app shows the following error:
Do not click "Move to Trash." The app is not damaged, this is a safety procedure by Apple given the app is unsigned and un-notarized. Instead, click cancel to keep the app downloaded, then open the Terminal app on your mac device, and paste this command:
xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Candlestick.app(Don't forget to press enter after pasting this command into the terminal)
Close Terminal and simply open the app from your applications, and it should work.
Download steps for Windows
Install the file ending with .exe listed below. This file will act as a Candlestick installer.
Once downloaded, you may be met with this message:

If you find this, do not worry — this is a safety procedure by Windows since the app is unverified.
To get passed this message, click the underlined "More info" text.
Once you do, you'll see a new Run anyway button appear.
Follow the installation instructions afterwards and you should be all set.
Download steps for LINUX
Install the file ending with .appimage listed below. This file should be compatible with all linux distros.
If you're preference is .deb or .rpm these formats are provided as well.
For the appimage format, once downloaded you may need to edit the properties of the file to make it executable.
On ubuntu, you can do this by right clicking the file, and going to "properties."

Afterwards, look for an option to make the file executable as a program, and make sure it's enabled.

Once you do that, you should be able to simply open the file.
Other linux distros may follow a similar procedure.
NOTE: If you're on a steamdeck and the linux build is not working, it may be an issue related to the hardware webkit. To get past this, you can use Bazzite to run the .rpm file using the command, rpm-ostree install FILE_NAME.rpm
