Summary

  • Rewrites README with sharper voice and edge: "Your agent writes code. Nobody checks its homework."
  • Frames scenarios as moments of recognition, not feature bullets
  • Replaces assurance model bullet list with a signal table (Advisory / Interlock / Attestation)
  • Strips all decapod CLI commands from user-facing copy — only cargo install decapod && decapod init remains
  • All instructions tell the user to work through their agent in plain English
  • Keeps the constitution/just-in-time context paragraph
  • Preserves canonical contract phrase (turn intent into context, then context into explicit specifications before inference) for test_intent_context_spec_contract_alignment
  • Updates artifact manifest SHA256 for release_check gate

Test plan

  • test_intent_context_spec_contract_alignment passes
  • release_check_surface_exists_and_runs passes
  • cargo fmt -- --check clean
  • cargo clippy --all-targets clean
  • decapod validate passes (191 pass, 0 fail)

…raming

Rewrite README as an activation doc with personality: sharper opener
("nobody checks its homework"), scenario framing that lands in one
read, signal table for Advisory/Interlock/Attestation, and zero
decapod CLI commands in the user-facing surface (only init). All
instructions tell the user to work through their agent in plain English.

Preserves contract phrase for test_intent_context_spec_contract_alignment.
Updates artifact_manifest.json SHA256 for release_check gate.
