Hey there 👋

I'm Eduardo, a Data Specialist based in Brazil.

My work focuses on:

  • Designing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines, from data acquisition to standardized and analysis-ready datasets
  • Applying machine learning techniques to classify heterogeneous financial datasets
  • Structuring and managing data lakes and relational databases using SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Working with complex spatial and land-use datasets to support environmental and territorial analyses

I approach data problems through a spatial lens, applying GIS and spatial analysis to understand and address complex environmental and urban systems.

Tech stack
Python, PostgreSQL (PostGIS), QGIS/ArcGIS
Main libraries: pandas, geopandas, scikit-learn, SciPy, Selenium

Fun facts

  • I don’t come from a traditional STEM background
  • My master’s research applied machine learning to study biodiversity under climate change scenarios
