Closing the gap between developers and operators
Designing human-machine systems that serve the mission, and the human.
Hælix builds intuitive, human-machine interfaces for complex, high-stakes environments.
Our mission is to build mission critical systems which are easy to understand, operate, and trust—whether in defence, aviation, or other demanding domains. We focus on human-centred design that scales, enabling better decisions through interfaces that feel natural, not forced.
Born from deep operational insight and first-hand experience with the limitations of traditional systems, Hælix was founded to challenge the status quo. We believe that effective technology starts with the user, not with the spec sheet. That means building tools that reduce cognitive load, adapt in real time, and support the way people actually think and act in the field.
From cockpit displays to mission planning systems, our dual-use technologies aim to bring clarity to complexity so that human decision-makers can stay ahead, stay aware, and stay safe.
We build fast, iterate with users, and deliver at the pace of relevance.
At Hælix Ltd, we believe that privacy is fundamental to trust. We design our applications so that they collect and process only the data that is absolutely necessary for them to function — and, in most cases, that means none at all.
Our current suite of applications — including Ballistic, FreqSweep, and HIRTA Converter — do not collect, process, store, or share any personal data. • None of these apps require user accounts or personal identifiers. • No contact, microphone, or photo data is transmitted off the device. • Any datasets or configuration files handled by our applications remain stored locally on your device and under your full control.
If in the future any Hælix application requires the collection or processing of personal data, we will:
- Clearly inform you of what data is being collected and why.
- Request your explicit consent before any such data is processed (“opt-in” basis).
- Provide a simple way for you to review, manage, or delete that data at any time.
We do not use any advertising SDKs. Our applications may make secure network requests to cloud services (for example, to download operational datasets), but these contain no personally identifiable information and are encrypted at rest, and in transit using standard HTTPS protocols.
