hc!OS

hc!OS is a web-based desktop environment built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It mimics a real operating system, letting you open apps, manage windows, and switch themes—all in the browser.

hc!OS is still in active development. Some features may be missing or incomplete, and things may change in future updates.


Features

  • App Windows – Open multiple apps at the same time, each in its own window.
  • Taskbar – Keeps track of open apps and highlights which ones are active.
  • Light/Dark Mode – Switch themes dynamically.
  • Window Management – Open, close, and focus windows with smooth transitions.
  • Modular Apps – Easily add new apps to expand the OS.

How to Use

Visit the website:

  • Click apps in the taskbar to open them.
  • Switch between light and dark mode with the buttons.
  • Move, open, or close windows freely.

You don’t need to install anything—everything runs directly in your browser.
