  • Add screen-space reflections, can handle roughness and has variable physically-based blurring. SSR is compatible with all deferred-compatible shaders and Scatterer ocean (from patreon volumetrics V5). SSR is not compatible and is disabled on OpenGL due to dual-camera setup (mac and linux users, linux users can get around this and get better performance by running the game through Proton).

  • Recompute KSC and island runway normals to be accurate, to avoid EVE rain puddles appearing on slopes, may interfere with Parallax lighting on the fake KSC grass

  • Change the lighting to allow screen-space shadows to be injected up to an infinite distance and not limited to the shadowmap distance, allows EVE cloud shadows to be integrated into the lighting correctly

  • Fix ambient light showing up on scaled space camera in flight (disabled correctly in map view)

  • Cap stock reflection probe resolution and refresh rate to 256 by default to limit its performance hit for non-savvy users, can be disabled from the config file

  • Add a second gui modifier key and default to ctrl+alt+D to avoid triggering UI randomly when playing

  • Fix the stock KSC and VAB fake ambient occlusion showing up through clouds and transparencies
