First Steps
You can find the latest release and more stable in the releases section from the github, consider downloading the latest always
After downloading the protify.tar.gz extract it into your user directory or whatever the place you want inside the user directory (Do not open the protify with sudo)
You now can open the protify program
The first thing you will view is:
- Red: Add any item, clicking in this button will show up a modal to you to implement a new item to the library
- Green: Install something, you can install .exe and ISO's in there, will show a modal to help you installing
- Blue: Show a modal with some preferences that you can change to make the experience in protify more easily to you
- Black: Features not implemented yet
Consider checking the Running Proton to view how to add a game using proton
- Red: Play the item, generate the command for opening the item
- Green: Edit the item, you can change how the command will be generated, basically the same as add
- Blue: Install dependencies, you can install libraries as vcruntime, .NET, etc
- Black: Add a file or dll inside the windows folder to it can be loaded
- Dark Green: Opens the winetricks inside the item prefix folder
