For now, I am just uploading the slides that I presented as well as the 2 interactive Pluto notebooks used in the lecture. I plan on transcribing my slides into a singular Pluto notebook (similar to class05).

The major feedback from my presentation that I plan to incorporate:

  • hammer home the intuition that "the concept of consensus is not needed for optimal control, it is enforced as an addition to help solve it in a distributed fashion" -> the presentation will be reordered to motivate this first
  • fix notation on slides 22, 34, etc.
  • what happens when the feasible region of the distributed MPC is nonconvex?
  • connect with other lectures -> more content about ADMM's connection with Benders, SDDP

Let me know if there was any feedback from my presentation that I missed!

Unfortunately, didn't get to finish yet! Hoping to finish it by tomorrow. The entire chapter will be in the laplacian_consensus.jl file.

The chapter is finished now. It is located in class08.jl, and I also generated the static html page.
