A way to build it ourselves? |
@chatman how's your weekend, btw? |
@jfwalter you can just build https://github.com/mkhludnev/dataimporthandler/tree/patch-3 yourself |
and quickhacking 9.9.0 https://github.com/mkhludnev/dataimporthandler/releases/tag/9.9.0-unoff-release |
Is there a way I can use this 9.9.0 version without it being merged?
Sure. Just drop the jar via old fashioned way. https://solr.apache.org/guide/solr/latest/configuration-guide/libs.html |
Thanks - I'll give it a go. |
@TheUKHighStreet how it goes? |
I'm not there yet - on a steep learning curve as I hadn't updated solr for quite a while and had been using it in standalone mode. Not sure now whether I should just use solr as the database and remove the link to mysql completely. Lots to think about. |
It doesn't sound reasonable. Search engines are not a System Of Record but a stored views of derived data or Data Marts, speaking architecture hat. |
Its already 9.10.1 |
I don't want @chatman from the official release routine. Please Sir, go ahead! |
