Some of the textures are unpolished. I fixed them. This PR fixes Discord feature request https://discord.com/channels/1362164016784474202/1454864713153384601

Fixes peepotron, spinotron, impactotron to look better and be more consistent with create.

I don't actually know myself, but is it possible the faces/icons on the top of the observing blocks were there to differentiate between them when viewed from the top side only?

Well, they look quite ugly. And they don't have any functional purpose, If there are different icons on top, they should at least look polished

I considered a variation with an eye on top, but not sure about that either because the purpose of the box on the top of the create smart observer was to place an item.

I’m not merging anything that intentionally removes readability to adhere to slop standards.

Work with me here. Im willing to fix the icon issue, I can bring all of that back. All that I ask, is that it can be done in a manner that looks asthetically pleasing

So If you dont mind I would like to remove the smiley face but I can bring all of the icons back.

Clockwork is such an amazing mod, and so its such a shame that a lot of the textures here do not live up to the same standard.

A lot of these textures I’d argue are downgrades, both palette wise and consistency with clockwork’s style wise.

most notably the valve is rather flat, the sensor tops lost their readability and are flat, the pump is a temporary texture anyways (as is the redstone duct), the heater looks worse and didn’t fix its currently non-conforming vent cover texture to match (which is an actual issue)

I will consider merging a few of these, but the vast majority so far are a no go for me.

Well I'm not done with them yet. This PR is draft status after all...

Ill fix the pallete issues, and you can just say the word for any of the textures you want to change. I just figured you had enough on your hands already, that the textures are the least I could do to help out. It would probably be the last thing to get updated anyhow.

A lot of the clockwork textures are drifting away from create aesthetic, could use improvements, and are also somewhat inconsistent.
I need just mention the gas tank texture to explain my point.

A lot of these textures (most notably the iron ones) are also just hue shifted down to be colder colors which isn’t the point (they should be consistent with ducts, which used to look like that and changed to industrial iron)

Please do not open art PRs that contain placeholder assets or hueshifts, or at the very least split this pr up more, maybe by section of block instead of all one.

Clockwork is not Create, nor does it focus on being a create addon nearly as much as it focuses on using create’s existing infrastructure for its own purposes. It is not trying to remain stylistically consistent. (Wanderlite as a concept should be proof enough, as well as all the other more detailed blocks/items like the infuser or the wanderwand)

I’d like to also note that I’m not against art assistance I just intend to be critical of it because the only reason to accept an art PR is if it is an objective improvement lmao, so I kind of have to be critical 😭
