Pure-python envs went away with python 2.7 stuff being removed.
Hopefully this doesn't break anything, and the pin here is _ancient_.

docoptpackage is quite frozen in time (last update was a decade+ ago), and in Python 3.14 it is starting to cause deprecation errors. Let's see if we can migrate to something less dated.
