Hi, I’m Avinash Baskaran

  1. I build, maintain, and test open-source projects, including production-grade AI systems, ..., ... .
  2. I run Humin Labs, a freelance open-source program office dedicated to helping organizations solve real-world problems with open-source solutions.
  3. I foster real and engaged communities in collaboration with the Open-Source Hardware Association (OSHWA), and other great non-profits.
  4. I run PARC, a 40-acre community farm and agronomy research center in rural Alabama.
  5. I teach and facilitate advanced STEM topics at local K12 schools through a Mobile Lab network administered by the state of Alabama.

My background spans biomedical robotics, open-source software, hardware, policy and applied AI. Today I focus on:
