I wasn't able to find a clear explanation of the process of contributing to a spark package - it would be valuable for future contributors to have a set of steps available to them in the Readme. The method I used may not be optimal or idiosyncratic - if you know of easier ways to run custom package code, it would be great to both let me know and document that instead.
