Use extended control API

As pointed by @jonnor my PR was adding other commits non-related with the subject.

The lib would be neccesary because it does format emulation and adds sw controls. Compiling with your patch fails with a fatal error: libv4l2.h: No such file or directory. This is solved by adding missing dependency (sudo apt-get install libv4l-dev). This is a dev package so it should be unnecessary for strictly using de package. I found some bug using this module. I made a fix and create this pull request #29
I also included your extended control api commit since I needed it.
When I'll have time, I'll check to add the headers.
