I prefer https://github.com/wichert/lingua for i18n extraction nowadays. Here's how the extraction shell script looks like https://github.com/wichert/lingua/blob/master/docs/examples/i18n.sh There would be the need to switch more packages to lingua though |

you only need to specify, where i18ndude can be found, if not already available in the systems path.
