This PR only contains changes due to formatting by the leading formatter and linter ruff.

pyproject.toml added for ruff settings.

Is it really just formatting without changing the content? Try yourself!

pip install ruff
ruff format . # formating
ruff check . --fix # linting

Ensure pyproject.toml is added before formatting.
