A simple website to help in communicating the lack of urgency in a digital message.
Much like email debt forgiveness day, the simple website at slow.fyi aims to make communicating online a little less stressful.
The internet lets us communicate extremely fast, and with that has grown the expectation of a fast response.
In today's stressful world, friends may want to reach out to friends without making them feel like they owe a fast reply.
Ending any message with "slow.fyi" does just that, because it brings them here1, where they can read this message and know a reply is appreciated, not expected.
Enjoy the internet a little slower today.

1 Well not actually here, to this repo, but to slow.fyi where this message lives.
This static website is hosted with IPFS, pinned by Filebase, and fronted by Cloudflare. IPFS is a distributed network, so anyone can help to host by running:
$ ipfs pin add /ipns/slow.fyi
A merge to the master branch of this repo will trigger a Github Action that will:
- Compile the site
- Pin the resulting IPFS multihash to filebase.com
- Update Cloudflare's DNS entry to point to the new hash
