- Memory + disk cache (~/.cache/mcpx/registry.json) with 1-hour TTL
- Stale cache fallback on network errors
- Server config falls back to registry when not in local config
- Levenshtein-based "Did you mean?" suggestions for typos
- loadConfig accepts allowEmpty option for registry-only workflows
