Slack TUI

A terminal user interface for Slack, built with go and the bubble tea framework.

How to install and use it!

Use the go package manager to install the package:

go install github.com/espcaa/slack-tui@latest

Or if you use arch linux, you can install it with the AUR package:

yay -S slacktui-git

Then, you can run the extension with:

slacktui

Note: you need to have the GOPATH in your path for this to work. If you don't know how to do that, check out the go documentation.

How to get your magic string??

Just get the firefox extension on the extension page! Then follow tthe instructions there!

Simple keybinds & tips

To switch categories (channels, dms, notifications) use shift+tab To change the focused panel, use tab To change active channel/dm, switch to the sidebar panel and use arrows+enter to select the right one!
