Fixes a "Not Found" error for UI assets in the production environment by adding and configuring the WhiteNoise library to serve static files from the 'static/' directory. This ensures that the favicon and logo image are correctly loaded when the application is run with the Waitress WSGI server.

PR created automatically by Jules for task 13367031432450415822 started by @fakebizprez

Adds the WhiteNoise library to serve static files in the production environment. The Waitress WSGI server does not serve static files by default, which caused "Not Found" errors for the UI's favicon and logo.

- Adds `whitenoise` to `requirements.txt`.
- Wraps the Flask application in `wsgi.py` with the WhiteNoise middleware.
- Adds `venv/` to `.gitignore` to prevent the virtual environment from being committed.
