QTCs
Hello Contest allows to log sent and received QTCs. To enable this feature, check the box "QTCs" in the settings dialog's Contest section under Operation Mode. The feature is automatically enabled if you choose a contest definition that allows QTCs (for example the Worked All Europe DX Contest).

When QTCs are enabled,
- you see a list of all sent and received QTCs in the main window below the logged QSOs,
- you can open the Send QTCs dialog using the
F5function key, or Edit > Send QTCs in the main menu, - you can open the Receive QTCs dialog using the
F6function key, or Edit > Receive QTCs in the main menu, - when entering a callsign in the main window, you see the number of sent/received QTCs of this station next to its predicted QSO value
- the score table shows the logged QTCs per band in a separate column,
- the spots table shows the sent and received QTCs of a station in a separate column,
- the logged QTCs are exported in the Cabrillo format.
As callsign of the recipient, the callsign of the last QSO is used by default. If you want to send QTCs to a different station, enter the callsign into the Their Callsign field of the main window before opening the Send QTCs dialog.
To open the Send QTCs dialog, press the F5 key or select Edit > Send QTCs in the main menu. Hello Contest automatically prepares a list of QTCs (max. 10) for sending.

The process of sending QTCs consists of four steps:
- offering the QTCs
- sending the header
- sending the QTCs
- concluding the QTC series by logging it
You can navigate through this process, either by using the buttons in the dialog, or by using the following keys:

Returnexexutes the next step in the process: send confirmation -> send the header -> send the QTC -> log the QTC series -
=repeats the last CW transmission -
ESCstops the CW keyer immediately -
ESC ESCstops the CW keyer and closes the dialog without logging the QTC series
As callsign of the sender, the callsign of the last QSO is used by default. If you want to receive QTCs from a different station, enter the callsign into the Their Callsign field of the main window before opening the Receive QTCs dialog.
To open the Receive QTCs dialog, press the F6 key or select Edit > Receive QTCs in the main menu

- requesting the QTCs
- entering the header
- entering the QTCs
- concluding the QTC series by logging it
