@gilmaimon more FYI: this fixes a waning about a deprecated function that appears when all warnings are enabled in the Arduino IDE and using arduino_esp32 >=v3.0.0. I made it dependent on the version of Arduino_esp32 to avoid side effects for users using an older versions of it.
This is more a nice to have as the old code still compiles, however with that deprecation warning appearing.
