Hi there 👋

This is the repository of Jin Cao

My background is road traffic optimisation, this is the roadmap of my life until now:

  • 2004-2011 studied in Tongji University, Shanghai for my bachelor and master
  • 2011-2016 worked and acquired my PhD at ETH Zurich
  • 2016-2023 worked as senior consultant in the field of transportation and infrastructure management in Switzerland (and travelled across Europe)
  • August 2023, I attended immersive Data Science course (600+ hours of practical and project-based learning in Python, Machine and Deep Learning, NLP)

At this moment:

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on a AI project with Constructor Academy & Novalytica AG (Energy consumption forecast in real estate portfolio using Machine Learning models (link for project details))
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning python, machine learning, deep learning, NLP as well as macroeconomics and German language
  • 👯 I’m looking to collaborate on entrepreneur AI projects
  • 💬 Ask me about railway infrastructure management or basic python questions, Chinese or how to survive in Switzerland

  • ⚡ Fun fact: I used to be an 400 meter athlethe and am still active in many sports (basketball, pingpang, badminton, swing dance, ski, hiking to name a few). I also like singing and would like to sing in a restaurant or bar as a free time hobby or part time job
