- Install Arduino IDE
- Plug the Arduino into the computer via USB. Ensure that the Arduino IDE can find detect the Arduino device.
- Ensure that SparkFun AS7343 Arduino Library is included using the Library Manager
- Import and flash
spectrometer.inoonto the device
This script (spectrometer.ino) is mainly based on an example script from SparkFun (see license) in the file.
This has been tested on Python 3.13.2. The main function uses serial communications with the Arduino. Ensure that the serial monitor is off when running the Python GUI or else it won't run.
