Balabuh is a travel booking application designed to modernize the traditional and fraud-prone travel reservation system. Instead of contacting travel services through WhatsApp or personal connections, users can now explore and book various travel services within a single platform — similar to a marketplace like Shopee, but specifically for travel transportation.
The project consists of two separate applications:
- Balabuh: for customers to browse, book, and manage their travel reservations.
- Balabuh Driver: for drivers to manage bookings, pickup locations, and schedules.

This project was collaboratively developed by me (Daffa Ilhami) and Bhakti Ramadhani. I came up with the concept, designed the overall app interface, and developed the mobile frontend using Expo React Native, while Bhakti handled the backend development using Fastify.
This application was created as a final project for the Associate Degree in Information Systems at Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin, and serves as an initial step toward building a digital transportation startup.
