been almost 2 years, and I haven't touched go in nearly that long, so I'm not going to spend any time getting this updated. Time to get it off my PR list. |

I've modified to get a clean merge for #8 . You may potentially want to remove the bit in
main.gostating that this is a patched version. I've successfully used this to build a golang program distributed as a single file.
