Welcome to the DVModAPI wiki!

DVModAPI is a set of modding APIs for Derail Valley, it's goal is to make universal API that can be used by any mod.

Currently it's in early beta.

How to use

• Download latest version from Releases
• Install it as regular mod for UMM
• (For modders) If you want to use it's features in your mod, just add DVModAPI.dll as reference
• Do not bundle DVModAPI with your mod in zip file to avoid accidental downgrades, always point users to latest version in Releases

Current features and how to use them

• Check if VR is enabled using DVModAPI.VRMode (returns true if VR is active)
• Derail Valley specific entry points (OnMenuLoad, OnGameLoad, OnSave)
• Load Assets functions
• Custom Mod Settings (requires Better Mod Menu UI)
• Display Popups
