Hello, I'm Tyler Riehl

Full Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer with a passion for building clean, performant, and user-focused applications. I’m currently a Nitro Developer at Power Home Remodeling, where I contribute to our internal Ruby on Rails platform supporting thousands of users across the organization.

Previously, I helped build and scale BoxedUp, a rental marketplace and SaaS platform, leading initiatives across full-stack development, API integrations, and UX performance improvements. My work there helped secure over $5M in pre-seed funding through thoughtful product execution and growth-focused experimentation.

Before transitioning into software, I spent six years in the aerospace industry, developing test systems and leading technical teams — a background that gives me a systems-level mindset and a strong foundation in precision and reliability.
