JS Weekly
The JS Weekly newsletter is a great resource to stay on top of what's happening in the JS realm.
If you have not already, you should register with http://javascriptweekly.com/.
A weekly newsletter will be mailed to you!
But i have found myself not reading this on a weekly basis, and feeling continuously guilty about it.
After beating myself hard, one day i went through the site. It had 4 simple links.
The "Archives" link is the treasure. It's a map of all the issues.
This is the greatest resource. Now, when i glance around, i can choose some random interest and read through it.
Why is this so?
It's a behavioral trait.
Most often, we buy books. With a good intention. To read. But we do not. Unless its a thriller or something which pumps up your adrenaline.
It's the same with the weekly newsletters. You subscribe, but then you never read. This is people like me.
And after a while you feel guilty.
So the map gives me joy! Whenever i want, i read! Makes me happy!
Also, another cool feature is the Search.
Let's say you search for Angular. Boom! You have the industry's thought process right before your eyes. Consolidated. Way too cool.
Anyways, it's important to keep up a rapidly developing language. Especially if you love it and work with it.
Boomer Sooner!! (I don't know why i typed this out. Maybe, because OU season is about to begin and i am happy!)
