Projects

On PEGR's home page, you can choose to see "My Projects" only or "All Projects".

The show page for each individual project has five sections. The first section lists project metadata, including name, dates, description and funding. The second section lists users in the projects. Each user has a role in the project. Only project "owner" (in addition to labadmin) can edit the information in the project. The "Experiments" section will link to the barcode tracked protocols and materials used. The "Sequencing Runs" will list the cohorts linked to the project. A cohort is a collections of samples that belong to the same project and same sequence run. Each cohort is collapsed by default and only shows the cohort name followed by the report name. Clicking the cohort name will expand the cohort and show the list of samples in the cohort. You can leave "Notes" for each cohort. Samples not belonging to any cohorts will be listed in the "Other Samples" list. The last section is "Replicates", where biological replicates and technical replicates are listed if any.

To merge projects, go to Projects -> All Projects and find the search bar on the upper right corner. Type in a search string (optional) and click "Merge". Follow the pages to complete the merge.
