Closing this PR as the Electron 24→35 major version upgrade requires manual code changes.

The CI fails with a TypeScript error in src/ProgressWindow/preload.ts:79:

error TS2345: Argument of type 'IpcListener' is not assignable to parameter of type '(event: IpcRendererEvent, ...args: any[]) => void'.
  Types of parameters 'event' and 'event' are incompatible.
    Property 'senderId' is missing in type 'Electron.IpcRendererEvent' but required in type 'IpcRendererEvent'.

This is a breaking change in Electron's TypeScript types that needs manual intervention to resolve. A separate issue/PR should be created to handle this upgrade with the necessary code fixes.
