This PRs adds more flexibility to NCBI functions by not requiring numeric UIDs so character vectors are also acceptable as long as they can be coerced to numeric vectors.
Another minor change in this PR is that I'm adding some pubmed ids to the examples for testing, and testing that
ncbi_recover_id()works with pubmed uids as well (although for pubmed, uids and ids seem to be identical).
