This requirement may need to be codified in the Pilot Procedures, or changed to an ATC requirement to determine this information if utilising the holding point.

What is the trigger for this? Is it expected that the helicopter circuit will always be active in certain met conditions, or is it added and removed for each helicopter which conducts circuit training?

It's added for whenever a helicopter conducts circuits, and removed once the helicopter has finished operations/circuits.

Ah ok, too easy. Could we potentially add something to the helicopter circuits section which mentions adding it to the ATIS and removing it once the operations have concluded?

Thanks for updating this @llamavert . I'm assuming that the procedures we had previously were outdated and the procedure IRL has changed?
Would you mind creating a PR on the Pilot Procedures site to mirror these changes?

That's correct, the old Area A/B/C have been removed for a month or two. Pilot Procedures PR already in progress to reflect these changes to the SOPs. |
Perfect, sounds great |
