FAQ
- There are a couple of ways, with the easiest one being ordering already made, fully functional circuit board from our site. You can contact us here and we will be glad to help you out.
-
In order to get your board from a local manufacturer, you need to download gerber files along with the main board bill of materials and sensor board bill of materials.
-
After downloading, send an email with files attached to it. Manufacturer will have all the needed information to create the board.
- If you are a developer and you want to make changes to the design, modify and upgrade it, you can download everything you need here:
- Main board: PCB design drawing;
- Main board: Circuit schematic file as .sch file;
- Main board: Circuit schematic file as PDF file;
- Sensor board: PCB design drawing;
- Sensor board: Circuit schematic file as .sch file;
- Sensor board: Circuit schematic file as PDF file.
-
We recommend using the Eagle CADSoft. It is a reliable, cross-platform software widely used for PCB design.
-
You can also download and use some of the free software available, such as Proteus or ExpressPCB.
Easiest way to do that is by going to the links provided here and here. Once you have opened one of them, go to the option 'Order this printed' located on the right sidebar.
You can alternately download 3d models here and here. After downloading, go to any of these pages: 3D Hubs, Shapeways or i.materialise, and follow the instructions given.
If you want something printed but you do not own a 3D printer, there are multiple websites providing 3D printing services. You simply upload the 3D models provided on this site, and follow the instructions provided. There you will find nearest 3D printers available and price estimation.
If you would like to change the design of the enclosure or modify it, you can download .stl files provided on this site and modify them in different 3D modelling software that you have available.
Contact us here to receive the exported models in your preferable format.
If you are a beginner, you can try different free 3D modelling software available, such as 123Design or Sketchup.
If you are experienced in 3D modelling, you can use any software that best suits you.
If you are using Ultimaker as your 3D printer, you will want to use Cura. It is free to download and use. Here is a tutorial on using the Cura and setting up your 3D model for printing.
There are several other 3D printing slicers that you can find that are also free to use.
To connect your device to your WiFi, you need to press and hold the gold button located on the bottom part of the main board for five seconds.
